Jin Xiaoguang Zhineng Qigong

An associate professor at Yan-shan University in China, and a visiting associate professor at Ohio State University, Xiaoguang Jin was born in China in 1962. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering degree in 1983 and worked as an engineer for four years in the Heavy Machinery Group Ltd. She obtained her M.S. and Ph.D. in 1990 and 1995, respectively.

Among her present professional achievements are sixteen published research papers and major contributions to the 1998

First Award granted by the State Education Ministry, with another First Award granted by the Science Committee of Hebei Province, in 1998.

A former vice president of the Association of Zhineng Qigong Science at Yanshan University, she began her practice of Zhineng Qigong in April 1995, receiving her first Certificate from the Center in August 1995 after a thirty day advanced training and her second Certificate in August 1996 following a fifty day advanced training. She attended the Fifth Conference on Zhineng Qigong Science in May 1996 as a delegate of Hebei Province, and presented a paper on behalf of the Association of Zhineng Qigong Science at Yanshan University.

At the Center she has thoroughly studied all nine of Professor Ming Pang's Zhineng Qigong textbooks, as well as all of the practice methods in the first three levels of Zhineng Donggong and the Eight Methods of Chi Cultivation.

For the past year she has hosted a Zhineng Qigong club on the internet, devoted to spreading the message and teachings of this rare science. For those who may be interested, the address is:
