CoQIO

An enzyme found in every body cell, but in highest concentrations in the heart, CoQIO has a profoundly beneficial effect on the energy-producing potential of the cardiac muscle, so much so that it is considered the most effective holistic treatment for hypertension; this effect derives from its enhancement of cell metabolism within the heart muscle, restoring functional efficiency to the entire organ.

In addition, CoQIO neutralizes free radicals, enhances Vitamin E's antioxidant abilities, and improves the body's immune system by supercharging the cell metabolism of the entire body; a boost in the energy level is among the first perceived fruits.

CoQIO is routinely prescribed by a majority of physicians in Japan. One should commonly allow six to ten weeks in order to experience its benefits. Maintenance doses range from 100 - 200 milligrams daily, while therapeutic doses for cardiac conditions and hypertension generally run from 300 to 500 milligrams, with gel forms better absorbed than capsules, and capsules better than tablets. Cardiologist Stephen Sinatra, M.D., founder of and director of the New England Heart Center considers CoQIO the greatest health discovery in decades.

More than 15 million Japanese take CoQIO daily, and in Western Europe doctors regularly recommend CoQIO as nutritional support for healthy hearts. Ten times more CoQIO is found in the heart than in any other organ. When CoQIO levels fall to 25% or less than normal, organs may become energy deficient; when levels fall to 75% less than normal, serious health problems may occur. Levels of CoQIO production decrease with age.
